She Animates Africa Launch AfricaNXT Our launch was super awesome. A big thank you to our speakers and all the participants. We so glad to have you be a part of this journey. Thanks to AfricaNXT for the opportunity. She Animates Africa aims to promote greater representation and participation of women in the animation industry. The initiative will include training, internship, mentorship, networking opportunities, and regular events to showcase the work of talented female animators. This is not just for animators, but also for anyone interested in animation, storytelling, and visual arts. We believe that by providing ongoing support and access to resources, we can help to increase the representation and participation of women in the animation industry. 25th March We’re still buzzing from the She Animates Africa event, where budding animators had the opportunity to learn from experienced pros in 3D animation and stop motion. It was definitely a day of inspiration, creativity, and teamwork.
